Tamales are offered to President Donald J. Trump –the Great Negotiator– to remind him that we live in an organic continental region whose people share innumerable resources, including tamales,which have been prepared, eaten and shared for approximately 10,000 years. This conversation scales down the blame game for our “broken”immigration system because it replaces fear and conflict with an agenda of peace, prosperity and cooperation. We offer tamales to remind President Trump that he should move beyond the Wall towards a great transformation of the Americas.
